got a question hope some wolvy riders can help me out with, im looking at picking up another yamaha i picked up a 05 bruin 2x4 a few months back to use for trail riding also have a 92 timberwolf 2x4 and my kids pretty much took them over so im looking at picking one up for myself, i really like the wolverine read alot about them. noticed they get a lot of modifications, but i would like to keep it stock other than the two wheel conversion kit and will upgrade the tires to 25" most likely mudlites have those on the other to quads and are great tires, anyway most of my riding is on wooded trails and roads, slow speed hunting, not awhole lot of mud, just alot of joy riding i guess. would like to know how the wolverine would be for that type of riding. also is the wolverines 350 the same motor has the bruins 350 never had no problems with it but have not had it that long. any help would be great, i looked at the black 05 wolverine and it looks great. thanks

A friend of mine had a 96' Wolverine and he loved it. He has since upgraded to the Grizzly. The motor in the Wolve is the same as found in the old Warrior so it is very reliable. A little underpowered maybe compared with the new machines out today but it will last forever. The two wheel add on is a very good idea as are the mud lites. Good luck

I use my Wolverine for the exact type of riding you describe and couldn't be happier. The Wolverine IMO is an excellent combination of light weight, decent power, and good agility on the trail. Makes it a blast in the woods, hill climbs and river crossings are cake. Buy it and enjoy...
