Default Cylinder boring

Ok so i want to put a Wiseco piston in my blaster soon because mine still has the stock piston and i think its time for a rebuild. Should I just get a standard bore Wiseco piston and put it in or should i get my cylinder bored and get like a .10 piston? Where can you get cylinders bored and about how much does it cost?

first off no need rushing in and having your cylinder bored .10 over becuase yoou think its going to help your performance. First off the only reason you get a clyinder bored is becuase it is worn to much. so what you need to do is take the cylinder to a machine shop and have them mic it. this will tell you if it is worn passed the specifications. if it is they will tell you how it is over and that will determine what size bore you have to get. but if your blasters only a 2002 i doubt it will need a bore and if it does it wont be any more than .10 hope thid helps

If the cylinder is fine then there is no need to bore it .10 there will barely be a power difference if any.
But its your call.

if your lookin for more performance out of a bore then go .30 or .60 over. im not sure what they make for blaster but .10 you will barley feel a diffrence in power.

Ya I wasnt going to bore it .10 over for power i was going to do it because i thought my cylinder might be kind of worn beacuse its been ridden really hard for about 3 years without a new piston

youd be surprised at how much abuse a piston can take if it was jetted right. I have had my 650 cat since 93ish and it has never had a rebuild and it gets ridden harder than your blaster does
