Bought some for my wifes recon that actually flash like strobes, put them up under the gas tank and it does look pretty cool at night, I hooked a switch to them so they were not on all the time. I bought mine at auto zone. Just something a little differant. But if you were on the dunes at night, at least there would be an amount of safety involved also.

I would go to autozone and get two 9" redline interior accent neon lights then run to walmart or somewhere and get some velcro and a dual 12V cord with caps on the end. Make sure the lights are mounted up under the quad and not hanging down because they would be easier to break on a rock or something. I had this setup on my 300ex for nightime riding and if you would do some hardcore riding then just unvelcro the lights and unhook them from the 12V. Just velcro the lights and wires to the frame and they last a long time, I went mudding with mine one theyre some tough lights. Costs about $50-$60 for all the parts. Im trying to rig some to my 450 but its a little tricky without a battery haha.
