it does suck that they are going to quit making two strokes, even if they do keep them they are going to be so corked up you cant even smell the golden spectro in the morning and that almost ruins the point of a two stroke lol

 

Evinrude found a way around the 2 stroke ban already, they use a direct injection 2 stroke motor in their outboards and it passes the emmisions standards set bu the EPA, BUT the manf. of atv's will not spend the money needed to make this system work with their atv's so they are just going to stick with the 4strokes.

 

Do you guys think that 2-strokes will be illigal. Like if you bought, lets say a 99' blaster and a cop sees you riding he can give you a ticket?

 

no they are grandfathered in because they were produced before 2006. Just like a clasic mustang or baracuda doesnt have to go to emissions.
