ya, buy a breaker bar for the oil nut. the slip on is only a coupple bolts to take the old one off so that will only take u about 15 minutes. the jetting is not really hard either, all u need to do is take off your back plastics and remove the proflow kit and loosin the clamp on your manifold, then follow the dynojet insturctions. when i jetted my carb for the first time it only took maby 20 min and when i put on my pipe which is a full system it only took a 1/2 hour. and whats wrong with your battery? the dealer will really rip you off if u bring it to them when it will probally only take 45 min of your time to do it, besides the tire mounting and a dealer will probally charge you between 100 - 200 bucks depending on their labor rate

Warrior02man- hey I was intimdated by the mods I was planning and wanted someone else to do it as I thought I might screw it up. Mainly the jetting part had me worried. The HMF slip on is easy. The send instructions if you need em, but all you do is un-bolt the old and bolt on the new. My air filter was simple and all I did was basicly replace the stocker with the k&n, which also had instuctions. I asked a few helpful members around here for info on jetting and got pointed in the right direction. I printed the schematics of the carb off the Yamaha web site and proceeded to tear into the carb. I never had to remove a dang thing. I was able to loosten the carb from the boots and spin it until I could reach the float bowl. I never removed the choke, or throttle cables. Opend the bowl and found the main jet to switch it out. Put the new one in and adjusted the air/fuel screw. The dealer is going to charge you anywhere from 65-100 bucks an hour. At least put the pipe on, change the oil, and install a new battery yourself. The tires will have to be mounted, but can be done at the local tire shop cheaper than the dealer. Just my 2 pennies

my old stock slip on fell off while i was riding and hurt my leg rly bad.. so i know how to put on the new slip on. The oil lug nut is stuck and will not come offf, which is stupid. I need to change it very soon or i will be running on broken down oil. umm the tires i need done at a shop. I need help with the jetting, thats the only part i am worried about.
The thing with my battery feeds is weird. There are two screws on the battery, one holding the negative feed on and one holding the positive feed on. Both feed tips broke underneath the bolt, so i have no leads and need to start up the quuad by taking the seat off every time and putting them on the battery manually. Anyways, my negative feed has the whole piece intact, just missing the bolt to screw it on. The positive feed is the one that snapped off where the O part is snapped from the rest of the feed. I need to fix this somehow, so i need basically this and tires and jetting done, and the oil prob.
