Default fuel in air box

Just picked up a 95 Big Bear 350 4X4 for free. It will start but stutters when runs and dies if give it much gas. It has sat for 2 years so I know I need to drain all fluids and clean carb and air filter. But my question is when I have carb tore apart is there any thing I should look for that would cause the fuel in air box?

Default fuel in air box

i cant think of anything that would cuase gas in the airbox unless maybe when they were filling it with gas that it spilled and ran into the snorkel. so maybe you could drain it and then ride it for a while and then see if it fills up again
