Default Need Quick REPLY for warrior

Im going to look at a 88 yamaha warrior today. The guy that owns it says it has no spark so what could be the problem?

Im guessing bu no fire you mean no spark, and that could be alot of stuff.

well I was just on the phone with him and he said that he was back in the woods on day and it just lost its spark. The battery is dead but the bike won't even jump start.

well if the battery is dead that cant help but im assuming even with the battery there is no spark well this is one of a few things. the magneto could be bad, the cdi could be faulty or your wire might be shorted or something ive never been into the electrics of a quad so hopefully someone with better knowledge comes along. but i think that these things could cuase no spark
