As you will notice in my signature I plan on getting sum new modifications(hotcam stage I, weisco pistons 11:1, and maybe even a nice port job) here in the near future so I was wondering would it be necessary to go ahead and get an extended swing-arm to keep the front end down or is it even that big of a deal. Also I ride trails ONLY I truely have enough power to be happy but I kinda want more and would extending the arm have a big effect on my quads handling in the trails I know that the turning radius is less the longer you go...Any opinions would be helpful thks!!!

 

I'd go with a +2. I've got one on my bike and its really the way the bike should have been from the factory. Trails handle great and its easier to keep the front end down in a launch. Smoother and striaghter in the dunes too.
