I use castrol GTX 20w50 and have never had aproblem with it, and it costs half of the other stuff. Of course I change my oil every 2 rides but thats about 150 miles. I also change the filter every other oil change(Bosch 3300)

I run amsol synthetic motorcycle oil in my Wolverine and Spectro synthetic blend at 36:1 in my Quadzilla. but 4 stroke Amsol Synthetic all the way. I run their differential oil too for my shaft drives. If you run synthetic dont forget that you cant run synthetic when you do motor work which requires you to do a new breakin (like new piston or bore). You have to run full dynosoar soup for that.

I run Maxima 10W40 and haven't had a problem with it. Though I've been thinking about switching over, but I haven't heard a good argument yet to convince me to run something else. I used to run GN4, but thought Maxima might keep the engine cooler.

Yamalube........ 5W30 Winter & 10W30 Summer. For Hot Summer and racing I would run 20W40

Great protection and cost about same as everything else.
