any state but u have to put blinkers and lights and safety stuff and get it licensed (of course) as a motorcycle
if you do decide 2 licensed and register it u have 2 get insurance(only costs like 80 bucks a year and i'm pretty sure it protects your quad if it gets stolen) any wayz it will end up costing you in any way shape or form
check the D.O.T. website for your state, to see wat is aloud and not aloud

We can ride them pretty much everywhere in Kansas except big cities like Wichita KC etc. Smaller towns cops really don't give a crap unless you are speeding acting like an idiot etc. We can't ride them on highways but county roads etc no problem

It is legal in Arizona and I have mine street legal. I've ridden it everywhere. All you need is proof of insurance, a brake light, rear view mirror, electric horn, and of course registered and a license plate. It's my backup transportation if I need to bring the truck in for some work.

Here in WV u can ride it like 1 mile on any road but 2 of your tires have to be off the side of the road...and you are only supposed to do it if you are going from trail to trail...i think...
