WOW this is really entertaining. ...lets settle this for all... BY having us argue which one is faster stock. Whos great idea was this. It's all personaly preference. It doesn't matter what ya got almost anything can me setup to ride almost everything. keyword being almost. I'm tired of this which one is better than the other it mostly comes down to rider and even then theirs different situations. Some of you guys are real characters. And untouchable350 give me a break you are argueing over top speed of a banshee. How often on a track or andwhere besides drag are you on your top speed?? maybe on the highway??

Yeah, a Banshee has more bottom end.... LOL!! Now THATS funny!! Good advice bro, now go do some research.....
funny.... you didnt say anything about the 450 having to be re-built after a month...
Yep, thats the 450 alright. Has to be rebuilt after a month.
Funny how I and others have had theirs for a year and still don't need to have them rebuilt.
You know whats even funnier is people making these comments without even owning one of these things. I own BOTH a Banshee AND a 450. I think my info is a little less biased.

Banshees are very fast quads, but they're purpose is very limited. If you want a quad that you can mod the crap out of to go crazy fast in a straight line get a Banshee. There is no doubt that a Banshee can be modded to kill everything else.

If you want a fast quad that does everything well (trails, track, racing, etc) then get the YFZ450.

When I bought my Raptor I had to choose between the Raptor and Banshee I chose the Raptor because I was going to be riding mostly trails and the Raptor is at home in the trails. Now I am looking to race and want a quad that is setup for racing so I am buying a YFZ450.

i know. im just trying to stir the pot a bit. i have no doubt the 450 is more reliable than the banshee. it just isnt the quad you would get if you wanted to keep it for 10 years without a re-build.but then, who gets it for that?
