Default best YFZ air intake mod?

Just wondering wha the best air intake mod for the 450 is. I want the comparison to include power gains vs cost vs clean air still

How much of a gain did you get with your mod and wer did you buy your system.

ESR/Ron Woods is going to give you the best flow but that removes your airbox. If you want good flow w/ airbox buy a Pro Design Pro-Flow kit with K&N or Foam with airbox lid off

keep the airbox with lid off... works best also you wont have as much dirt build up and that will clog the filter somewhat...

UM and CFM both sell some pretty good looking aluminum airboxes that use the 250R style filter with the bigger 4" flange. They are designed to breath much better than the stock airboxes. It's probably the most flow you can get without having to remove your airbox completly. You might want to check them out CFM UM
