Pilot jetting w/ HMF

Is it necessary?
Is it necessary to jump up to the 48 pilot jet on my HMF for my 450?[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img] I know on HMF website it says to jump up to that but i was wondering how many actually did it? By the way I am at 1500 feet above if that will help any answers. It is a slip on by the way Thanks in advance
