Without oil filter replacement
Oil Tank Quantity = 1.55L (1.36 Imp qt, 1.64 US qt)
Crankcase Quantity = 0.20L (0.18 Imp qt, 0.21 US qt)
Total Amount = 1.75L (.154 Imp qt, 1.85 US qt)

With Oil Filter Replacement
Oil Tank Quantity = 1.55L (1.36 Imp qt, 1.64 US qt)
Crankcase Quantity = 0.30L (0.26 Imp qt, 0.31 US qt)
Total Amount = 1.85L (1.63 Imp qt, 1.96 US qt)

Oil to use is SAW 5W30 if temps are 0 to 30F degrees, Yamalube 4 10W30 or SAE 10W30 if temps 10 to 95F degrees and Yamalube 4 20W40 or SAE 20W40 if temps are 40 to 120F

Its all the the YFZ manual just to tell you. It shows you how to change the oil, how to drain out of the oil tank, the crankcase, how to change the oil filter etc...

I'd say that pretty much covers it.
I would however like to add that it seems as though 1.96 qts is still too much even if you change the oil filter.

Yes, it all flows as one system, but still, the dipstick has always read a little high whenever I add close to two quarts, even though I am changing the filter too.

I think in the future, I am going to add a little less than what is stated.
