If your 110 lbs soakn' wet its prolly gonna rip yer arms off and scare ya half to death..but if your a big fat boy like me..lol...6'7" 310lbs, it its not too powerful. and thats at both ends of the spectrum i might add. Not sayn that the lighter guys can't handle it, just it might be too much depending on your experience and you might have more fun on a 350 or sumthin. I wish I was a like 150lbs..its would prolly be crazy powerful to me then.

Well, I've been in some tight trails with mine, and I think it's a great trail bike. It's got a lot of low end, and it's easy to control. Just use common sense, if you're gonna give it full throttle, make sure it's pointed in the direction you want it to go. I only weigh 115, so it feels like even more of a handful to me, I love it. Plus I think that if you trail ride, it's nice to have power if you need to lob the front wheel over something. You won't regret getting the raptor, you might also look at the z400.

nice... i let my neighbor who is all of 140 lbs ride it and i just sit thier watching jealously, wishing that i could make it go really fast like that and that I didn't look like a circus act riding it...lol

Is that all you ride is trails? My 350 does a pretty good job on the Mtn. trails. But I know I'm going to get spanked on the dunes.Alot of power is good somtimes, but it can bite you too!I'm going about 160 lbs. I think mine has a pretty good power band.

Amen Brother! One can never have too much power!
Like SlueFoot, I'm 6'5" and a couple of biscuits over 320. Before jetting my Raptor I was able to do power ******* in 3rd. Now, jetted, I have to be very careful...even when I'm loading up into my F350 bed via an aluminum ramp due to the extreme "low-end" torque the Raptor has.
More is better, just as long as you know how to operate and control it. Remember, it's not the arrow but the Indian!!!

The raptor was built for trail riding and it only goes as fast as you make it go. If you're not used to that much power then take it easy. Eventually you will be able to handel it and you will be glad you chose the raptor.
By the way, I've yet to see ANYONE walking around with no arms because they were riped of by giving their quad too much gas.
