I Lost the key to my banshee and had to dig out the lock to get it back out the woods. Do the sell key assemblys

we had it parked got off and couldnt find the key must have dropped somewhere i dont know

 

Ya there about $45.

 

If you don't need the key, you can take it off and cut and splice the wires together. I probably have a used key assembly laying around here somewhere if you want to PM me about it.

 

maybe the thread is supposed to read 'stole a banshee by trashing lock need a new lock now'

just jokin, i couldn't resist.

 

There should be a numerical code on your starter switch housing. Bring that code into the dealership and it corresponds to a key code and they will cut you a new one on the spot. I know this from first hand experience. Oh yeah, have them make two keys while you are at it.

 

Why have a key there is only 2 wires that go to the key switch, just cut and splice. Your done. Do you really think 2 wiress is a theft prevention.
