Which sport quad do yall think i should buy between a 660 Raptor or a Ds 650

personally, i like the raptor. it's lighter and slightly bigger. and i love the motor in my grizzly.(i know that it's tuned way different)

 

ds..wide, stable, great suspension, lots of power, high top speed and 1 comftorable ride.

 

yeah id say ds 2

 

No location, no rider size, no intended use, no rider preferences, no indication of desired future modifications, etc. Basically this is an open ended question and anyone can be right. Give us some information, anything not based on that is going to be less than useful.

for trail riding id say DS u cant go wrong w/ the long travel suspension for drag racing both can b modded fairly even the only advantage the raptor has over the DS is weight

 

Hmm, long travel suspension really doesnt make much of an impact in the trails unless you are already bottoming out, which the raptor doesnt usually do on a trail. The longer travel shows its benefits in high speed racing (desert) and dune riding. She's a little heavy for MX. The width of the DS also makes it very impractical for some of the tighter trails in the East, another reason why more information from the original poster would be helpful. If anything I'd say the Raptor was the better trail bike, DS for more open spaces.

 

ds=baja style racing/riding (hence the ds baja edition)
