Default 05 Kodiak 450(what's a good price)

Hello, I'm trying to find what the average OTD price is for a 05 kodiak 450.(blue)

At this time all I know is $6199 is sug.list.

I'm down to the last few decisions.

honda vs. yamaha vs. bank acct.(lack of $)

Thanks for your input!!!!

Well I don't know how well your dealer will negotiate but I got mine for $5399.00 OTD in Tn. I'd say that would be a good starting point.

I thought i had a good price at 5600 plus 6% tax, otd, when i checked a few months ago. If you got it for 5400 otd..you got a very good deal.

Yeah I saw the deal in the atvtrader.com this past march. So I couldn't pass it up. Plus I got the $200.00 cash back from yamaha. So actually I got it for $5199.00. The dealer is The Great Outdoor Store in Jackson, Tn.

I sure hope I can pursuade the dealers to get into those price ranges.

Sadly, I'm leaning towards the honda cuz of the price but the kodiak has alot to offer.

Come on dealer price war!!!!

Well, we just bought 2 of them and the best price I could find, and I shopped in NV, NM,and Utah, was $6650 apeice. That includes 7.5% sales tax.It was a cash deal and I shopped for over a month.

Too bad BigBen. If you expanded your search area to CO, you'd have found they get much cheaper. I also shooped the same areas including AZ and found my kodiak for 5500 and the wife's bruin for 4100. Colorado Springs was just a five hour drive to pick them up. I'll drive to save anyday!!!

Found a dealer willing to play ball....stay tuned. Thanks for all your input,CHEERS!!!!

I understand a Bruin is not good to tow stuff with?

It would be used to tow a garden type trailer around the acrage.

Is it worth the down sizing?(It's for my wife),but really like the options on the Kodiak.

Decisions,Decisions,.....Deeeecisions!!!!!I need a beer!!!!

I payed $6358 OTD here in good ol' NW Pennsylvania. Hey I got $200 off list price plus payed 6% sales tax. These hicks don't deal much around these parts

Yeah, they dont deal much around here either, plus there's only 3 dealers within 400 miles. I got the limited edition black 05 Kodiak 450 for $6199. The worst part is I havent even got to see or ride it yet. My wife picked it up for me as I'm at work 600 miles away.
