i have a beartracker and i was washing it the other day and i thought wow those macpherson struts systems dont seem very strong, that one little A arm that they have seem like it was mad fron flattened pop cans, can i jump my beartracker like 6 0r 7 feet without worrying about breaking the front suspension
thanks, kyle

Well, going by the front ends of trucks and jeeps and other off road vehicles, which are heavy duty...double a arms is best. Gotta believe the same engineers and thinking went into quads too. Single a arm, like the bayou, is about the weakest, and they dont track very well, lots of bump steer, and the chamber changes as the a arm moves.
On the plus side, it keeps the cost of the quad down.

well thanks for the replies, i already have been jumping it at about 7 feet and i havent had a problem yet i wanted to find out if it was going to hurt the bike by doing it. and also i think that single A Arm setups on the bayou are different then a macpherson strut setup but im not sure, thanks for the replies again
