Default blaster project

i have a 2001 blaster rolling chassis and an '83 250r that needs to be rebuilt. i am thinking about putting the r motor on my blaster.has anyone done this?any suggestions are welcome.

Sounds sick to me, just fab up some custom motor mounts and be sure to clear any vibration problems, it should work alright.

it should work alright, you will have to fab mountiing bracets, and what not but it should turn out alright

Yea man it sounds like a awesome project but when u do it do everything right even if it costs alittle extra money in the long run it is worth it but sounds really kool and keep us posted

i don't know what kind of setup i want. i was thinking drag but moto-x is a lot more fun but more expensive. could i make competetive in motocross?

Im thinking the pipe will cause problems. The 250R uses a very odd shaped header, im wondering if it will clear the frame or not. Also the rad might give you problems trying to mount it, but anything is possiable with a little imagination and the right tools. Good luck dude, it should rip!

the thing i'm worried about is a blaster sprocket is on the left side and the old 250r's are on right side.i'm thinking flip the swingarm and rig up the shock mount
