few questions

well this thursday or friday im gonna be going to yamaha to go for a quad im putting $1000 down. Now i either want the big bear 400 4x4 or the bruin 350 4x4. im gonna be riding street, trails, snow, mud, and climbing over logs in my upstate house. but i havea few questions how do each handle? i also heard when you go full throttle on the big bear it sounds like its gonna blow up i dont know if its true or what. i also would like to know if i buy them and i ride in the snow when im in 2x4 and slipping is it gonna go into 4x4 or will it just slide and let me stay in 2x4. id really like it to stay in 2x4 while im sliding. overall how are these quads pros and cons of each.
thanks alot for any replies

I have a 2004 Bruin 350 4x4. And I absolutely love it. Its great on trails. It handles awsome. because it is lighter weight you can really throw it around. The push button on command 4x4 is great too. Whenever you need it, just push a button and its there. The ultramatic transmision is also really nice. If you are looking for a good reliable 4x4 that will be able to keep up with the bigger boys on the trails, the Bruin is great. It does not have as much speed as the bigger boys, but you cannot expect it too. As far as trail riding and stuff goes you will be able to go anywhere they can. The only complaint I have is the stock tires, but any quad you buy is not gonna have awsome stock tires. Hopefully this summer I will have the cash to get some new rubber(25" mud Lite XL's). Good luck in your decision, and dont be afraid to go with the Bruin.
P.S.- Camo looks awsome, and hides scratches like nothing else!
