I race MX mainly with my blaster. mods are Fmf pipe and power core 2 silencer, Vito reed spacer, uni air filter, boyesen reeds, 18-9.5-8 rear turf tamers on douglas rims, front holeshot tires on douglas rims,banshee bend renthal bars with oury grips, denton steering stabalizer,dg nerf bars, pro design kill switch, blue shockwears,durablue +6 axle,lonestar +2 a-arms,AC bumper,Works dual rate shocks with cans,14 tooth front sprocket,custom cut and painted front fenders.airbox modifications with 240 main jet

mxracer, u got +3 aarms and no aftermarket shoks? hum.........somethin souinds fishy

How good are blasters on trails and how do they compare to a 4 stroke. Do they have a lot of low end power?

blastermxracer, i just got the a-arms. i don't have enough money for shocks, i'm getting works dual with cans this winter.

Trails, logging roads, anywhere I can ride pretty much,
Yes Blasters are great machines to ride in trails, small and have some good bottom end.

97blaster w/DGpipe and silencer, bandits XT all around with .190ITP rims Boyssen Carbon fiber reeds, Cylinder bored .20 over, intake and exhausy ported, K&N Air filter Dg grab bar, and that is all i can think of. I ripp it in the pits up in New jersey jumping 25 foot doubles every summer but i live in Fl and there arnt many places to ride here

they are they pep shocks from nacs... i dont remember how much i payed for them...they are ton smoother..jumps,whoops lots better than with stock shocks.

I have a 99 blue blaster , I ride Trails/Hills/ and race TT. For motor mods i have LRD chrome pipe/silencer/Jetkit/Vitos Power Piston kit 20 over/ Vitos Degree Key/ Vitos Reedspacer/ Boyesen Reeds/ K&N/Outerwear/Drilled Airbox lid/Rad racing Clutch i think thats it that i can think of right now lol/ All my other mods are 4 Douglas .190 offset wheels with Razr Mx's on rear and Razr Fronts. Hydrolic rear brake,R.K.Chain,SunstarSprockets,DG bumper/DG grabbar,Pro Design kill switch, Removed Headlight. Painted rear hubs and sprocket hub. Yamaha Team Blue. I really cant think of anything else right now. probley forgeting some stuff but o well.

im thinkin about the vitos piston did it make a big difference, and did the reed spacer help low end at all?
