Bleeding Banshee Brakes.

Default Bleeding Banshee Brakes.

I am having problems bleeding my brakes. I just did a frame off rebuild. When I am trying to bleed the brakes, I just can't seem to get any presure. Any advice?

i dont know much about brakes i am rebuilding my banshee this week when i get my frame back from powder coating and i know the rest but the front brakes i dont know all i know is hook them back up and fill the res and keep pumping the brakes and loosen the bolt on the caliper alittle comes out every time you pump it and dont stop until it gets out all the air then top off the res hope this helps if anyone knows for sure please help i would like to know to

Default Bleeding Banshee Brakes.

You either have a massive amount of air, or a bad master cylinder.

Fill the master cylinder. "Crack" open the bleeder valve on the caliper, and let it drip down into a catch can through a short piece of tubing (over the bleeder screw). This will bleed out most of the air. After a period of time (an hour or two), try to do the bleeding proceedure again. You may have better success. Master cylinders on bikes (and quads) don't move much fluid per stroke, and therefore are sometimes difficult to bleed after being drained.
