Default welding frame please reply

the frame on my yamaha three wheeler just snapped and i was going to get it welded at the local welding shop but i didnt know if it was worth it to have it welded becuase i wasent sure if they can be welded and still have sufficient strength.. another problem is the trike has no suspension. so if the weld will be stroge enough i will get that done if not i will part it out on ebay

thanks

depends on where it broke, how good the welder is, and if you can brace it or span a piece of metal across it to strenthen it up. I welded a rancher frame once and its was just like new, but it was also on the A arm bracket.

If the tubing is not rusted out it should work fine. May want to gusset it a little since there is no suspension, will give a little added strength. Good luck hope it works out for ya'...

I had some welding done on my raptor's frame. A weld broke so I had it repaired and its been holding up just fine. If you get a competent welder, you should be fine

If you find a good welder you should be fine. Technically a weld should be stronger than the material your welding if done right.

Sorry, didn't tell you anything new, just thought I'd post ***** a little and throw in my 2 cents.
