when im in 5th gear usually went i let off the gas and let it decelerate a little then punch it, it pops or bogs then its fine again, any suggestions. and someone was messing with my airscrew thats what i thought it was but he cant remember where it was. do i turn it all the way one way then back so many turns and if so how many?

 

Mine does that everyonce in a while, but its only when Im running out of gas.

oh ok, I figured that wasnt it, but you never know. Sorry I cant help.

 

If the mixture screw is out of adjustment, youd have those symptoms.
Start at 2 turns out from lightly seated, and adjust from there.
Once the motor is warm, slowly turn the mixture screw in, and find where the motor starts to run uneven. From there, counts the turns out, until it runs uneven again. Half way between these two positions is a good place.

 

If its stock, I would at least turn both screws out 2 1/2 turns from seated.
