Raptor vibration

The cure is to go fir a spin on a KX 500 and you realize just how little anything else vibrates. Seriously, some good aluminum bars will help, just remember to lightly file the sharp edges of the clamps.(just round off a very little bit) That will do 3 things, reduce vibration a little more, Allow the bars to 'flex' just a little(this will help reduce rider fatigue and arm pump) and it will keep your bars from snapping off in a crash, although it has been a while since I have seen that happen. Good luck.

My Raptor has minimal vibration which makes for good handling. It much better then the rattling banshee and even less then my old 400ex. I like how yamaha redesigned the steering column which all the magazines and critics overlooked. It now is a two piece so when it bends you only have to pay 35 bucks versus 100-150 $$$. I'm sure I'll need to buy that piece sooner or later!
