Default K&N vs modded lid

What would allow for more airflow... a K&N powerlid or just straight holes in the air box lid... i hear that keepin the snorkel on your airbox lid equalls more air flow because the snorkel makes a sucshin in your intake makin more airflow... is that true or would the power lid allow for more air???

Id think it would get down to square inches of available air. Adding more holes makes more area available for air to flow. If you remove the lid or the lid and box, itll flow the maximum, that the filter will allow.

I had a pretty good debate over the same thing raptor350, I choose the powerlid and was surprised to see the kit came with a jet kit. It actually will need to be re-jetted, so I think it does flow quite a bit more air, If you do get the powerlid order in a crank case breather vent for some reason or another the kit doesn't include one. Oh yeah if you get the kit maybe let me know if or how your able to stick the outerware on the lid.

No you would'nt need the c-case breather vent filter if you drill holes in the lid. I looked at those uni filter plugs and it was my understanding that they are not washable, So every once in a while you have to pop them out and replace them. They are not really expensive but if your like me finding lots of mud and water it could be. For me its the powerlid.
