Took another look at the graphs......

Here are some standard formulas determining torque and Horsepower:

horsepower = rpm x torque / 5252
torque = 5252 x horsepower / rpm

HP and Torque are always the SAME at 5252 rpm's! Accurate graphs should indicate this rpm at the point where HP and Torque intersect.

Those HP# are very impressive.... And this is on pump gas??? Sounds like your compression is low enough that you could retard the timing a little bit and spray a 25 or 30 hp shot of nitrous... Will this bike be used for drag racing??? If you could, post some pic's....

Those are nice #'s but why wait till 6 months after you dyno'd to post them ? Im not hating but I simply dont see how you can build that motor for under 1K . Who did the port work ?

Thats what I understand also but his dyno crosses at 4900. I was one of the first trinity686's and I know first hand the "orange county correction factor"

You can say all you want! Your assuming too much, first everything that I had done was already setup by a flat track racer. He started a family and had complete raptor top ends lying around. I bought the entire top end for 760 - a piston, and then sold my stock top end to some one who blew up theirs for 600. Then found a guy selling FCR's on eBay that screwed up on spelling and some how I came across it for 500 w/ intake. Then got a JE 12.5:1 piston slapped it in 150, already had the Sparks X-6 exhaust. The engine I bought was a Mickey Dunlop 690 kit, over sized valves and springs, porting, cam the whole nine. The receipt from MD was 3000 +, the guy basically gave it away so I just lucked out like no other. I was going to install a Carrillo rod but since my raptor is still pretty new (ride time wise). I really don't have much time to ride it now but I just couldn't pass up those deals. I tried to get an EFI kit but the throttle body was on back order so I passed. So total with the cost of Trinity dyno tuning it comes to about 973 + or -.

I don't plan on racing my bike; I just wanted more power because I'm 6'4" 250.

Sounds like a nice motor but since it cost 3k and you put 1k into it , you now have a 4k motor ? Still very nice #'s none the less and since Im 6'1 ,250 , it sounds like a race in the making

Sweet looking raptor, what size paddles in the rear are you running? I just ordered the black c-series for mine, my whole theme is back.
