Well...I think I'm going to agree with Daranello75 on this...if you truley want a powerful beast then wait for the Bomb 800....I'm not saying this because I already own two (Well...ok mabye it helps ) But I love the Grizm but just to be clear....Daranello75 is technically right that the Bomb really is...The Bomb...haha. And It's true that someday the Grizzly will most likely be an 800 but like always....Dirtwheels Mag will have a showdown and Bomb will most likely win, so far the Bomb has beaten every thing they have given it to for the 450 and under class (I think, am I right?)...But hey this is the Yamaha board so I'm not going to put any quad down because that's just not right So I will leave with a simple, Goodbye.

Oh and that I want both a Griz 800 and a Bomb 800

You're usually up on your info but I'm not all that quick to take this one to the bank.

i said that having my griz bored out to an 800 would give me 76hp, i really doubt that a bombardier 800 in stock form will put out 76hp. the brute force 750 puts out 51hp. i wish i could tell you the polaris 800's hp but i don't know it. it sure isn't 76 or anywhere near it.

the dealer i went to was hauk powersports in rice lake wi. they said that there the only ones in the midwest that will bore the griz to an 800. he said that they had a rep from mug magazine come there and shoot out their 800 grizzly running regular unleaded gas vs. their brute force 750 running racing fuel. in the 100 yard drag, the grizzly took the brute by 5 quad lengths!!!! soooo.............

An 800 grizzly could be strong offroad, but not with 76 hp. To make that much hp the bike woud have to have such a top end bias it would be junk offroad. HP numbers arent the holy grail for these machines, its the torque and where its made.

If you bore a Bomb and put a whistler on it(turbo) your looking at triple digits on the HP.
