Questions about yfz 450! answer for a new rider

Default Questions about yfz 450! answer for a new rider

was wondering what all gives a yfz 450 power besides a pipe and jet kit??! does k&N filters ?

Better technology. Light weight parts. High compression. Better power to weight ratio. Better ergos.

Edit: Oh wait, you want more power? K&N filter will give you a slight boost. If you really want more power, you gotta get a bore job, port job, basically a major over haul...they are fast as it is...

same here there is a lot of stuff out there but the yfz stock is the highest and fastest quad power to weight ratio.... that sold me

you can retard the cam one tooth, and yes the filter will give you more power

well besides the pipe and jets i would definately do the cam mod to it... And i would get a K&N air filter and ditch the airbox lid.. (thats what i did) Then maybe a cdi box i had one on mine and it made quite a bit of difference but it only lasted for about 2months before it quit working and i had to put the stock one back on it.. But just look around there are tons of things out there for the YFZ..[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
