Default 450 guys

i herd your supposed to change the rings on your 450 every 30 hours of riding im thinking about buying one but i wont if thats true any of you guys had to change your rings and if so after how long

no u dont thats if u race it, i have put over 2000 miles on mine in a year and the only reason im about to rebuild it is b/c some dirt got into my motor, thanks to the air boot falling off

I got my YFZ on 7-9-03.... I ride almost every weekend i havent had to rebuild it yet....Still runs great, doesnt use any oil....I do take very good care of the air filter though. I think that will extend the life of any motor...[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

I have put around 40-60hrs on mine and i havent had to rebuild it yet.. Just keep you air filter clean and the rings should lost a long time.. Unless you race it alot.
