my 97 warrior will have fits of when it wants to start and when it doesent its alright to start in the morning but if you turn it off and leave it for a while it wont start up again without sitting there and holding the start button and sometimes that doesnt even start it. what could be wrong with the bike. the bike is stock engine wise but has a k and n filter.

alright...first thing you do. check to see if it has gas. if its low turn on reserve. check to see if the gas is turned on. check spark plug. then check air filter, clean it if you need too. if all that is good. check fuel line. try bump starting it. push the quad, or go down a hill and when if going about 10mph or so slam it in 2nd gear.


basicly check this.... Gas, Spark, and Air. the 3 keys to making a engine run.

 

well thats the funny thing sometimes it bump starts and sometimes it doesnt its really wierd. it has a ricky stator stator in it and the guy i bought it from said he forgott to tighten the bolt the holds the grounding wire so it doesnt turn off by the key only by the kill switch could this be cuaseing the problem
