Yes 2-wheel drive dirt bikes/motorcycles have been made before. I remember seeing ads for them in the backs of off-road magazines. The things were tanks, and had covers over the wheels for storage. I also know they've tested them in the Dakar Rally you might have seen on the Speed Channel. They were all chain driven if I remember correctly. I imagine they feel pretty weird to ride with your front wheel pulling.

motocross? i dunno... i bet this thing will take ALOT of getting use too... its not gonna slide out as much... and i wonder what the power ratio is.... im sure its not the same front and back... and i sure its says in the article... but i didnt read it.. hehe
