Default Raptor 700 EFI, Why Not Grizzly?

I hope that soon, there will be a new category of very lightweight (much more so than the new Wolverine), true sport-utility 4x4. There was talk last year Honda would be releasing a quick 250 4x4, very light in weight. I would absolutely love it if this became reality and the competition amongst the manufacturers to build the best true sport-utility caused some AWESOME machines. Eventually, these big-bore 4x4 are going to be getting ridiculously heavy both in components and on our wallets! New Bombardier 800 is supposed to retail for $9,000 I believe.

Right track, but I'm kind of partial to shaft-drive myself. However, if that really kills the lightweight dimension of it, then go ahead and put chains on 'em!

Goblin did you see how much Yami wants for the same old grizz.

* $7,949 Outdoorsman Edition w/Kit (Hardwoods HD Camo) Available from September 2005
$7,599 Outdoorsman Edition w/Kit (Hunter Green) Available from September 2005
$7,699 Ducks Unlimited Edition (Advantage MAX-4 HD) Available from September 2005
$7,599 Special Edition (Dark Grey Metallic/Red) Available from November 2005
$7,549 Hunter (Hardwoods HD Camo) Available from July 2005
$7,199 (Hunter Green) Available from July 2005
$7,199 (Steel Blue) Available from July 2005
$7,199 (Red) Available from July 2005

Now thats just ridiculess in my book, for a 4 year old design.

BRP has not released the official prices yet. I think that is comming on the 14th. I bet that 8995.00 price floting around the net is for the XT with the factory winch and bumper ect.ect. pkg. My dealer told me he thought list on the std. mdl should be around $8399.00. will know for sure in a day or so . But if this is all that Yami is doing I buying the BRP 800.

I will say other than a cool new raptor 700 EFI, and finally a color besides green for the Rhino, I am a disapointed. All the rumors about a 800 twin EFI grizz and on another forum a rumor of a SRA version was also floating around suspect of being a new wolverine that turned out to be essentially a stripped down version of the 2003-2004 Kodiak 450.

So far it looks like Yami is the same boat as Kawi and Honda with hopes of late entries this fall.
