Default boring a wolverine

I've got a 98 wolverine that I am getting ready to mod. I have got another head to bore because I want to keep the stock head and piston. What I want to do is drop in a 85mm piston, which I think is .080 over and put a 36mm carb(I think that's what it is) off a warrior on,and use my existing megmaxII pipe. What I need to know is where is the best/cheapest place to buy the piston and what brand.I also would like to know how close is .080 over to maxing out the head.

I am not sure which piston and rings to get or if .080 is possible. I do not think the warrior carb will work unless you put a manual clutch conversion on your Wolverine. ?

Warrior carb will work, you just have to purchase the carb to head boot. I do belive you'll need a throttle cable as well.

If boring, I'd talk to Mickey at FST (Four Stroke Tech). He'll get you lined out right. I've no experience with any other companies on pistons so you'll have to do a bit more research if you want an alternate.

Good Luck.

I run a JE 85 mm (.080 over) 10.5:1 piston in mine. Boring was done by a local 2 stroke builder.
