Yup hell if i was yamaha i would call the grizzly 660 a grizzly 700 this year..

 

its not just the displacment increase, they changed the carb and alot of small stuff that adds uP! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] Yamaha is always a step ahead of its compition!

 

I dunno if you guys saw this or not... Yea, they brought up the cc's but lowered the compression, its down to 11.4 from 11.9, they are gonna be making the same power stock, and the 04-05 model has more potential because they have at thicker cylinder wall... oh yea, i think they lowered the rev limit to 10k even now too, i am not 100% on that tho so dont quote me...

 

They might have lowered the compression .5 but you can always put a higher compression piston in it to make it even faster. Plus the added 1/2 inch more travel to the rear suspension...bigger radiator...better seat...longer steering stem for more comfort....& the biggest improvement I can see is the new swingarm...no more adjusting the chain like a dirtbike...just grab the allen wrench, 1 minute later & your done. I'm sooooo glad I have waited 2 years to buy one![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

yeah they lowered the compression but you forgot one thing ,they up the stroke
