i just got a 05 raptor 660 and i came from a 01 trailblazer 250, im about 5'9 125lbs, 17yrs old. i got new handle bars and a twist throttle, some ppl are tellin me unless i wanna die young, ill go back to the thumb throttle, what do you guys think about that?? and i need some adivce on a exhaust/slip on and an air filter, what will i be happy with? thanks all for reading.

 

twist throttles suck the big 1 and have fun diying

 

I saw some guy with a twist throttle on a warrior, he climbed out of a big ditch and then tried to put it in neutral, thinking that he had done his task he quickly jumped off. when he relized, it was creeping forward, and being the showoff that he is, he tried to stall it using the front break, but twisted the throttle he turned the bars and before you knew it there was the warrior at the bottom of the ditch with him under it. true story.

yeah, i think im going to put the thumb throttle back on cause its just to hard to ride trails and stuff with it, any info on the exhaust or air filter?

 

not sure on what the best setup of pipes are for a raptor, but u cant go wrong with a K&N filter

 

yeah, i was looking at either k&n or the uni, i dunno if there is much of a difference, but seems like their are more k&n's out there..

 

Lets see.. advice.. get a pipe set up and k&n filter. Get rid of the twist throttle or ull die on the trails.

More advice.. DONT TAKE SUDDEN OR SHARP TURNS!

 

any advice on what exhaust is a really good performer for the 660?

 

ive seen alot of people running yoshi pipes on raptor but ive also seen them run just about everything
