Default cooling system probs on raptor

got a problem... my fan on my raptor doesnt work... i dunno what is wrong with it, but just going down the road and back the quad will be burnin up.. i dunno if my radiator is working either??? anybody else have this problem? or know what i could check or do to fix it? or get one or the other to work? thanks alot.

Check wires for the fan, mine rarely comes on ever.

thanks alot for the input. i will be certin to do that tomorrow, but does your quad get real hot real quick? is that normal for 660's? or could it use an oil change? too much oil perhaps? thanks alot again.

You could always try an oil change, I run 10W-30 in my Raptor without a problem. Mine does tend to heat up, but it isn't beyond any other quad I've saw.

I can only think of maybe a loose wire is all.

80% has to be the electrical 20% your fan is blown.

alright, thanks u 2, you have helped me very much.. where does the fan wire run to? just the battery? and best coolant or any suggestions for very high heat? thanks much.

Well if the fan is blown, and the fan is electrical, wouldn't that be 100% electrical?

rapt660, try engine ice, maybe even check your rad fluid.

k thanks alot, could i get that from dennis kirk, or rocky mountin? and i noticed that the coolant was low... but it was still alil above the low line.
