I bought my 2000 Grizzly a week and a half ago and I have 86 miles on it now. I was planning on getting it serviced at the dealer at 1 month or so. One dealer quoted me $240 and another quoted $170 to check and tighten everything and change fluids. Not sure how neccessary it is either. I can change oil but I would like it gone over pretty thoroughly. Thanks for the input.

Mr. Dosperado, my first check up ran about $150.00( after about 12 hours of run time). I let the dealership perform this inital check in case there might have detected problems from the factory that were still under warranty. For $240.00 I hope you get a wash and wax job along with that shiny stuff they put on the tires?

Well I thought I got ripped off! But the $75.00 I paid was cheep. Got a oil change ,valve adjustment and all other oils changed. Guess it was part of the package deal on the bike.
