I got a 04 350 wolverine. Whats up with this new 450 wolvie with the auto tranny and all. Its kinds nice that they decided to put a skid plate on it lol and floor boards but still its the automatic tranny that gets me. It wouldnt bother me too much cuz im used to riding round with polaris's in the woods and this practically sounds like a polaris with the belt and automatic and all, but what do you think would be better for woods and going through the mud and just messing round on. Should i sell my 04 and get a new 450 or keep the 350 and get a 424 kit, exhaust and stuff like that and a 446 kit? Whats worth my money for whatv im gonna be doing. Thanks

The old machine seems to be more of a race machine. My 446 makes twice the power that the new Wolverine 450 makes. The old machine is lighter and easier to manhandle i know that. Personally I like the old Wolverines alot better.

Keep the 04 and mod it. The 06 Wolverine is a disgrace...

After dumping so much time and money putting the FST Stoker kit into mine this winter, I was a little worried when I heard there was a new 450 Wolvy on the Horizon. But after seeing what they did to our Wolvy, I have to agree with Adam, gotta love my '01 Wolvy with the FST stroker.

Yamaha Wolverine

Born - 1995
Deceased - 2005

Wolverine Wannabe
Born 2006
Deceased - Time will tell.

Let the modding of your 04 begin. You have a great base. As all of us modded Wolverines know... it takes a Real Wolverine to mutate into a Great Wolverine.

New saying... 06ers suck?
