Hey all,

I have a feeling no one is going to know this. Does anyone know if the 2000 kodiak transmission would bolt up to the 2004 block?

 

Im gonna take a stab at it.
The tranny isnt a separate unit. Like a car, which has separate engine and tranny. They both share the same case and oil. So it would be a matter of replacing gears,and linkages, but i dont think theres room in your case, for the low range gears.

That makes more sense now. I guess I ASSumed that the tranny was seperate. That sucks.
