This morning i was cleaning up the attic in my grandpas shed, Long story short, and i ended up finding an 89 blaster that used to be my dad's. He had never told me about it, it was his first quad. So the body is in mint condition, but it needs a new top end. I still have to take it apart and look at it, later on next week (busy with work) but he said he blew the top end while driving. Now, i dont know much about 2 strokes, but I'm assuming that it will need to be bored .20 over. I was wondering how much this will cost roughly for the piston and boring, and who i can send it to? thanks in advance for any help.

 

by the way ill be able to rebuild it myself, i am just curious on the item cost

its in a shed attic. Its pretty much like a deck where we can put stuff up with a fork lift. None has any info on this?

 

about 40$ to bore it 70 for piston wiseco that is and top end gaskets 20.00 thats from rocky mountian atv. plus shipping

 

thats cheap i paid about $60 for boring and a wiseco piston is like $90 from Jrgraham

 

where did yous send your top end to for boring?
