Can anyone tell me what's the use of...

Hi everyone,
There are some parts on my 98 banshee that I don't know what their use is.
Let's start.
What are those boxes over the carbs (with kind of switches inside).
What's the auto kill...those wires that you have to disconnect when you change carb or to twist throttle.
What's the switch inside the throttle (on the handlebar).
Last thing, how the h*** do you clean the headlights...do I really have to take it all apart?
Hope someone will have answers.

All of the components you speak of with exception of the lights are part of the TORS system. This is a safety system designed to cut the ignition if the throttle sticks in the open position. Do a search on TORS and you will see at least 90 posts on this subject. As for cleaning the lights, try using a soft brush to get into the light grills. I took the cover off one light a while back. I don’t recommend it; it’s a pain to get off. Got the light nice and clean, for about one ride. Ride on.
