is there any signs to tell if the oil injector is messing up

i just recently switched to Yamaha (most pleased) from Polaris,,,,,i owned 3 polaris's,two were 2 strokes,,,my first one blew up because the oil pump failed,,,,,,after that i disconected them,and mixed the gas the old fashion way,and never had a problem after that

i just dont trust them,,,,when they fail,,,and they eventually will,your going to be rebuilding your motor

 

im sorry,i just seen your post on anouther thread,,,,,i thought you were talking about the automatic oil mixing on 2 -strokes
