Nope, nothings wrong with my banshee, people just overestimate how fast there quads are. Ive checked it according to gps and theres nothing else to it. My cousin has a piped jetted blaster with an air filter it does low 50's. Im sure u think your raptor is faster than that but i doubt it, at least when it was stock if its not still.

id still have to say that a stock banshee will beat a stock raptor. well atleast till the banshee runs out of gas.
banshee for life

A stock banshee and raptor 660 are both faster than 65, but not by much. FME it's between 68-72. Mine's only doing 78 with the GPS, with an error of +/- 3mph and averaged over 3 runs.
That blaster that "Fast02blaster18" was asking about from the beginning is probably just into the 60's with reasonable gearing, 61-63 or so would be my guess.

PLEASE READ:
I was bored so I thought I would comment.
Rider weight, tire pressure and air temp have alot to do with it. People argue this too much. Mid 70's for hi-po sport bikes should be a sufficient answer. Yes there is a genlemens agreement amoung manufacturers that they wont build them and or gear them to go past 75 or 76mph. I would say this is because there are alot of kids riding them.
My experiences:
This was done when GPS accuracy was high. It displays accuracy in feet you guys who have them know what i am talking about. The straightaways were long and smooth.
My Wolverine - 64mph
05 raptor stock w/ spark arrestor in rear removed - 76.7mph
05 predator stock w/ spark arrestor in rear removed - 75.7mph (The drag races between the raptor and predator stock were good)
95 Scrambler 400 4x4 - 58.0mph
My raptor - consistent low 80's, with a high of 84.3mph and a couple of 83's.
Let me explain before you start cussing. My raptor has 14/40 gearing and the tire pressure was higher then normal for riding on the street although not ballooned up, thats cheating. The spark arrestor was also taken out of the stock exhaust and the day was perfect. This is before my mods listed below.
These are unbiased because I dont care how fast they go. That is the truth and these are as accurate as it gets, some maybe slower some may be faster, not every bike is going to go the same exact speed either. I clocked them at this so I am not going to say "well I think the GPS and/or radar is wrong because it said what I or everyone else thinks is too high."
These are my personal experiences, call bs feel free to comment whatever.
Have fun and be careful when you are trying to go over 80.

Well ill tell you somethin insane. Nobody did believe it til they saw it for themselves, I was a little skeptical myself. But my old 660 rap, did 95 mph next to a gixxer 6, sv650, yamaha r6, eagle talon, and a subaru wrx turbo 5 speed. I am not lying the least bit, believe me cool, dont believe me i dont mind. If i were any of you i probably would not believe it myself, but my 660 did 95 mph. But ill tell you another thing, on youtube, there is a stock 2006 yfz450 doing 80-85 mph next to a truck on the highway. But that was the only ything my rap was good for, was the strait line. My 450 would toast in in the short strait line anyway on road. On dirt, there is no comparison, the 450 just ahnialates it.
