If you pay attention to that movie really close and look at the speedometer in the pickup, the truck is catching the yfz pretty good when its doing 80. The truck only hits 85mph when its flying past the yfz. Even from this video i would guess the speed to be at roughly 75mph tops on the yfz, which is what we all said the manufacturers agreement was.

 

right after i bought my blaster new in 03 i ran it next to a 99 integra on a flat blacktop road to see what it would do.

the results are not a lie....

bone stock=55mph

take it how you want to.

 

it will prolly do 65

 

maybe it it was going downhill.

 

Yep , thats pretty close (87 mph) on a that gearing. These other people on here are sayin a RaptER is only good for 74 75 mph . They must be around the 300lb mark themselves ! hahah

I had my Raptor 700 up to 81mph on my gps. Thats with the 3 mods and stock gearing........[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

I have an '04 YFZ 450 with a few mods to say the least, i have had it up to 100-105mph next to, well actually in front of a GSXR 750. no lie either, you don't have to believe me but thats what happened! i don't know why some of these people are saying that have 300ex's that will do 80+ cause we all know that is a bunch of BS!!! but with the yfz and the raptors, with mods like what i have done they are definatly top end machines!

I'm not sure right off hand, i belive it has a 14tooth in the front and i am not sure what the rear is, i haven't messed with the gearing since i have had it, not sure what the guy before me did to it for gearing
