Does anybody else notice how low the handlbars are on the 450's? And if I were to get Tag bars and a riser would it be better? thanks

 

Yes. I use a +1 steering stem and Tag X5 handlebars with a CR high bend, and they are tons better than stock.

No, Tags with regular 1 1/8 clamp will be lower than stock, but the tags will have better pull back & sweep, they feel more comfortable to me. I just got +2 houser stem, with flex bars, and their higher than stockers.

 

If I am just cruising the DS is more comfortable. Despite that, I prefer the YFZ because it is so much easier to ride, handles soooooo much better, and in most cases can be ridden faster. The DS is too tall, and doesn't turn worth a darn compared to the YFZ.

 

well i must say u got some nice quads [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] i really like the yfz, im saying forget the new yfz/raptor because it takes to long to get and i like to hear about it before i buy it, - im going to get my special edition yfz (yellow/black) next weekend when it comes in!!!!

 

Well congrats on the new Yellow/black YFZ then, you are going to love it. I need to finish out this years racing season on the DS for the sponsors. After that I can sell the DS, and will also sell the KTM in order to make room for one of these. I like the Yellow/black color combo so much that I want to have a matched set [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img].
