I've done the Raptor thing since march 2003, I put my Raptor through it's paces, my stepdad destroyed it. I rebuilt it, I was suprised how dependable it was with the abuse but it never complained. It is just time for a change, I was starting to get sick of the "my KFX is faster then yours" stuff too.

 

They're talking about the middle of August up here.

 

Im on the waiting list with my local dealer, he is suppose to call when he gets his first and he told me to be expecting a call anywhere from mid july through mid august.......so ive just been waiting for the phone to ring every day lol.

 

well yamaha told me there was a set back on the new raptors and wont be out til mid aug. to end of aug.. rumor has it that they found something major on the test rides so... just a thought it wasnt a concrete fact but something to think about... but the arrival date was fact from four dealers in california

 

Yeah it looks like it will be the end of August around here. I will not be riding a new raptor or YFZ450 in Michigan. I might just have to go back to old faithful and buy another banshee and park it in my living room so I can shoot the next son of a bitch who tries to steal it.
