Let's go over the options:

1. We could continue to eat up bandwidth on this subject.
2. Call some different people who don't know how to get there from here or
3. Call Kenz Cycle Tech who makes 70+ horsepower with Raptors using 39 fcrs and LTE's.

Raptorgav...

You can see some pics of the barkers in my gallery. They are hot on the leg, but when drag racing I don't notice. I can see where trail riding may make your leg a little toasty!

Most people running 800 dollar pipes and 1k dollar carbs/intake setups arent trail riding for fun. I tried it, she didnt like going that slow.

If all you do is drag race then the Barkers are no big deal.

If you trail ride or dune ride then they might not be the best choice. I like fast dune rides and my plastic is well worn where my knees rub on the sides, for me the Barkers are unacceptable.

Most people add the barkers to a machine that is already built, they are trying to squeeze out the last little bit of power. Barker built these pipes because he needed something that would keep up/match with his porting.

For people like me, Ken has been porting the heads with the LTEs bolted on the head while it is on the flow bench. Huge gains over any Raptor non-dual exhuast system that I know of and extremely close to the Barkers.

So, yes you can have LTEs, 39s and big power without burning your legs.
