yz250 motor in a warrior

Default yz250 motor in a warrior

i would like to put a yz250 dirtbike motor in my 2000 yamaha warrior does anybody think this would be a easy switch or not

u think that would be sick some of my friends are taking a honda 600 motorcycle motor and are making a go kart out of it but i want to do the yz 250 thing if i can find a cheap motor

hehe, I payed 100 bucks for my motor. But it needed a whole crank, cylinders, pistons, etc... Nothing you do is going to be cheap by the time you have an exhaust fabricated and get everything just right. Also remember if you use a new fangled dirt bike motor you need all the electronics.

Any engine swap is possible with a decent metal fabricator to weld & bend. And lots of calm well thought out planning. Take your time, don't rush & hillbilly rig crap and it's possible.
